Alan Karikomi, O.D.
Dr. Karikomi graduated from the University of Illinois and earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in 1979. Dr. Karikomi's specialties include orthokeratology, computer vision syndrome, and multifocal contact lenses. Dr. Karikomi is also a certified fitter for Paragon CRT and Bausch and Lomb VST lenses.
He is an active member of the Illinois Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

Robert J. Barabas, O.D.
Dr. Barabas is one one of the longest practicing optometrists in Chicago. He is an Illinois College of Optometry Graduate from 1965. Dr. Barabas's
Post Graduate degree was in corneal & contact lens fitting and care. His specialties are in keratoconus, rigid gas permeable lenses and post surgical contact lens fittings.
He is a member of the Illinois Optometric Association and Diplomate of the American Academy of Optometry.

Eric Drey, O.D.
Dr. Drey is a graduate of the University of Iowa and earned his Dr. of Optometry Degree at the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Drey's special interests include: contact lenses/primary eye-care, glaucoma, uveitis, and diabetic eye-care. He has a post- doctorate residency certification in primary care and ocular disease from the Illinois College of Optometry.

Kristie Charles, O.D.
Dr. Charles is the newest addition to the Vision Source staff. She is a recent graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry. Her undergraduate education was from the University of Wisconsin. Kristie has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and is proficient in the fitting of Contact Lenses. Dr. Charles' upbeat personality is always welcoming and reassuring for all of our patients.
Kristie hails from Green Bay, Wisconsin but now calls Chicago her home. She enjoys jogging, biking and the Lake front.
